Al-Abbas Islamic Centre

At the Deptford Islamic Centre, we take great pride in our dedicated service to the local community which spans many years. The centre provides daily prayers, Jumu’ah, and hosts exclusive events in observance of Eid and Ramadan, open to all, both brothers and sisters. We warmly welcome you to be a part of our lively community. There are two accessible entrances. The primary entrance can be found through the imposing green gates typically used on Fridays in order to welcome a larger congregation. Alternatively, the secondary, smaller entrance is situated just off Kery Road, primarily used for daily prayers.

Madina Masjid & Islamic Centre

Founded in 1985 within a humble terraced house on Couchman Road, the Mohammadi Masjid has since progressed to facilitate a large community of worshippers. Rapid growth led to our relocation in 1998 to our current location, a substantial building designed to accommodate 500 faithful attendees. At the time, the mosque was suitably spacious for the congregation yet, as many of you have noted, the current number of worshippers now exceeds the mosque's capacity, resulting in a frequent need for Jumuah prayers to be held in the street due to a lack of space. To address this pressing issue, we have embarked on an ambitious expansion project. Our vision for the Mohammadi Masjid extends beyond functioning simply as a place of prayer. Inspired by the model of the Prophet's Mosque, we aspire to transform our space into a thriving community centre; an inviting hub for the youth, students of knowledge, and anyone wishing to deepen their understanding of the deen. To support this vision, we have a programme of regular weekly talks in English, Urdu and Arabic, culminating in a special guest lecture on the final Friday of every month. Delivered in English, these monthly lectures are led by renowned speakers to enrich our collective knowledge and discussion.

Bow Muslim Community Centre

AsSalamu Alaykum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatu’h (May peace be upon you) Welcome to Bow Muslim Community Centre. We have been serving this community for over 15 years, providing the basic day to day services to the Muslim community including five daily prayers; Friday communal prayers; Eid Prayers and Islamic Evening Education for our youth. As the Muslim community is growing in the Bow area, the worshippers of our Masjid is increasing, it has become very difficult for us to accommodate everyone inside the building specially for Friday and two of the Eid Salah. It is through the grace of All-Mighty Allah (SWT) that we have successfully started on our 3rd floor extension which will facilitate more worshippers to pray in congregation. Insha-Allah this will be a hub for the Muslim Community In Bow to use for all their daily requirements and an an excellent source of education to young and old.
