Darul Ilm is a Masjid and community centre located in Thornhill lees Dewsbury. Darul Ilm has been primarily established to cater for the religious needs of the Muslim community.The centre is also a community hub and works hard to promote diversity and understanding between different cultures. Darul Ilm is a non-profit organisation registered with the Charity Commission.

Masjid Noor & Education Centre was established in 2013 to serve the spiritual and educational requirements of the local Muslim population. It is located on Lees Hall Road in Thornhill Lees, Dewsbury. With the grace of Allah SWT, five times daily salaat commenced in Ramadan 2013. The establishment now also holds daily classes for ladies to learn tajweed, quraan tafseer and fiqh etc, and a madrasa in the evening for over 100 students
