Zakariyya Jaam'e Masjid is the central Mosque of Bolton. It marked the beginning of the ICC, which was pivotal in supporting and aiding communities in other areas of Bolton to build further mosques and areas of worship. As a result, it still remains the central Mosque in Bolton, playing an important role in uniting and serving all Muslims in the town. It holds a capacity of housing up to 3,000 worshippers and acts as a contact point for many groups, agencies, and local authorities on various issues in the borough.

The development of a community-focused centre, embodying Islamic cultural and educational practices, and financed independently through generous donations from within the local community, encapsulates our fundamental objective. The heart of our pursuit is to immerse the local community in an assortment of social, religious, recreational, and educational activities whilst ensuring our presence reinforces harmony in the area without causing any disruption. The centre management's primary concern is to ensure not only the immediate welfare but also to facilitate a positive impact on the wider society, providing continual support through all available avenues.
