The Havering Islamic Cultural Centre plays a multifaceted role within both the local and wider community, actively participating in the religious, cultural and social spheres. Our paramount objective is to disseminate the authentic essence and comprehension of Islam as a doctrine of peace, tolerance and coexistence. The contributions of our trustees are vital in forging an inclusive environment that embraces all cultures and backgrounds. We have intentionally fostered a culture of openness, which welcomes and encourages interaction and dialogue between the Havering Islamic Cultural Centre and all members of society. This not only aids in fostering links within the community but also defines a key element of the centre's vision - a strong focus on community engagement. Furthermore, we have an Interfaith Committee devoted to promoting dialogue and unity amongst individuals of various faith communities. Our overarching aim here is to cultivate a sense of harmony and interconnectedness amongst all individuals of belief.
